Lee "Perfect" Powder Measure help (directions suck)

If the measure leaks very fine powder: take the rotor out and fit lap it against the body with fine sandpaper.

The Lee PPM will also benefit from a powder baffle, the hopper being more than 25% full, and some break-in time.

Two questions, what do you mean by "fit lap it" and what is a powder baffle?

From the description in link above:

Powder baffles help to ensure that constant powder pressure is applied to the rotor resulting in more consistent powder, even when the powder reservoir is running low.

I've read that some folks are not so sure about their effectiveness, but I think most fall into the opposite camp.

Also I have found that when it is below about 1/3 full in the hopper, it starts throwing lighter charges.

Some very good advice; you guys should write technical procedures. Whoever Lee's paying to write the powder measure directions is making out like a bandit.

An actual quote: "Don't worry if you hate the metric system, (cubic centimeters) is simply a volume measurement that is convenient to work with."

Wow, I think I 'll contact them myself...
