I use seafoam or marvel mystery oil for my first cleaning, not much mabey an ounce in three quarts of ground walnut. This is for real dirty range pick up. After sizing I use just plain walnut. The seafoam or marvel really get the carbon and dirt off and some what pre lube the cases.

How much of a difference does that make? I'm curious. But not really looking for something beyond a quick mild clean.
I don't need sparkly brass.

When I bought my big Lyman 2500 Polisher I also bought locally a bottle of Dillon Brass polish. Ha, the only Dillon product I have on my green bench......it works and will probably last til I die. Especially since I wet polish more than I dry polish these days. Lots of products to do the job. Never tried NuFinish, or Flitz, but I have no doubt they work too.

I use a capful of the Dillon, and a used dryer sheet for cutting the dust down. Zero dust with the wet, but it's best to deprime first when tumblng wet. And doing so makes for polished primer pockets too.....one less step in brass prep.

Bfh the seafoam or marvel are used in my first cleaning before decapping and sizing. It gets the carbon ( from blow back actions) and mud and other gunk off the cases. I found that when using carbide dies they do resize easier. I use just walnut hulls from petsmart after sizing to get the lube off the cases,

Dillon Rapid Polish 290 works great. Put in a capful now and then but you have to vibrate until the polish mixes and dries ot it'll clump inside the case. I put in a used drier sheet when the media gets dusty. Don't want to use any petroleum products. I actually prefer just corncob alone but Dillon Rapid Polish speeds the process and helps with stains and makes them shinier.
