I just wonder who make those Olympic air rifles and pistols that are used by the winners or top competitors in this years Olympic but find nothing and don't see marked on the guns, any link to find the info?

Those are some exotic rifles. Many are custom builds closer to the "if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it" range.
It's a very small market with some very specific needs.
All of which argues against mass production.
None of which reduces the "cool factor" any.

Who built these custom competition guns that won Olympics? I would think manufacturers want to brag thier guns won 20xx year Olympics or world events but I don't find those!

This is the fellow that set a new record this year.

That rifle (not an air rifle) can be found here.

The logo on this air rifle (red arrow) is Walther.

As an aside, I find it interesting how little information one can find on the rifles and pistols used to win and in news articles, only the names of the shooters and their placement are found. To give credit where credit is due, it’s not all the arrow but the Indian too, that I fully understand. Just find it odd when something horrific occurs it’s the tool that gets more of the blame than the user by the same publications…

I was impressed with the shooting sports, but I was quite disappointed with archery, to a point where I feel relatively sure that I could realistically compete with most of the olympians I saw on TV. I know that in Olympic style archery most competition shooters are shooting Hoyt risers and custom limbs. I am seriously considering trying it. 77 meters with a recurve is pushing the envelope, but the olympians were not getting hits like they should have.

70 meters at a 4.5 inch bullseye ( 10 ring ) 9 inch yellow is definately not easy. I watched the mixed pair championship and they were shooting almost all 9s and 10s. Now that's some shooting.

US lost in the first qualifying round as a team but they still have hope for individual.

Give it a try. I think you will end up being impressed with what you saw the others shoot.

Most of the air rifles/pistols used in top world class competition are not custom made - as you may find in a "Custom made centrefire" rifle. They are almost all "off the peg" with, at times "off the peg" variables added to individuals taste. The rules are very tight and the pistols/rifles are designed for the particular job. A good competition pistol will set you back $2k+

Very nice 1066!!!

It's truly hard to explain what these quality firearms bring to the table. You start getting into 3way & 4way adjustable triggers on the pistols. The grips are shaped to the shooters hands (filed/sanded/filled) like the picture 1066 posted above. Then the grips are textured/stippled or coated.

Not the best by any means but they're good enough to get anyone started. Russian olympic pistols with excellent adjustable triggers.

Once the grip is shaped the trigger can be adjusted for cant and forward/rearward to fit the shooters trigger finger length of hold.

Instead of stippling the wood I like to use a rubber coating.

This side caulking RWS75 air rifle has a 5way adjustable 2-stage 2.4oz trigger.

You need every bit of that trigger considering your goal is to hit the dot @ 10mm (33ft+) without hitting the 1st inner ring.

When you actually have the equipment to shoot/compete in these disciplines it becomes humbling. 1 mistake/1 point is huge.

I shoot the 10m pistol and the 10m rifle in the basement, it relaxing to me. The 50m free pistol is what I actually spent most of time with on the range. I setup a contender with a 357mag bbl using 38spl's to practice with. The heavier contender with the extremely heavy 14oz trigger was the cats meow when working on the follow thru/sight picture hold.

Anymore I've been using the 25m sport pistol for 50ft nra bullseye with a mini reddot on it.

Anyway, everyone should have at least 1 of the many quality airguns that are out there. They cost a little $$$ up front. But at the end of the day you'll be able to use them for years and then sell them for more $$$ then you have in them. Nothing better then getting paid to use some of the best firearm out there.
