I inherited a traditional pistol and a CVS Kentucky pistol. Both are blackpowder and in very good shape. Does anyone know how much I should sell these guns for? I appreciate any comments.

Sincerely,
Bree

Firstly, sorry for your loss. May peace be found for all involved.

Someone who loved you bequeathed items that brought them joy to you. (I assume.)
I suppose you should sell them for a price that would bring joy to someone who would appreciate them.

A gift of Good Stewardship to a young hunter, or two, you may know could complete a great circle, or pull more into the circle of responsible firearms ownership and self sufficiency.

How do they shoot? (A major source of value to these kinds of pistols.)

If times are tough, Gunbroker has Sold Item listings.
These can be searched for similar items and what they sold for.

Thank you for responding. Times are not tough; I am just downsizing.
The pistols shoot very well and have been taken care well.

Welcome to The High Road.

There is a thread here about black powder guns, you would be best served by going there along with detailed photos of your guns.

Traditions/Pietta makes several models in several calibers and CVA imported from various manufactures in both Italy and Spain.
Your guns probably fall between $100 and $300 each as you describe their condition and function but to narrow the values down further, we would need more specific details and extensive, close up photos of their markings and the areas of usual wear and tear.
