I've got a pound of ar plus and was gifted 1000 53gr hp match bullets. The pdf only goes down to55gr fmj, is there anyway to safely use this powder with lighter bullets? I've also got some 50gr blitz king I would like to load for also. Thanks in advance. lost....

Does that mean I can use the same start data for 50gr to 55gr. with ar plus?

Be sure and report your findings. I'm in the middle of ladder testing it with 77SMKs. So far velocities are way beyond expectations.
My next shooting will be testing the nodes I found.

I agree, yes it is safe. You can use load data from a slightly heavier bullet but not the other way around. 55gr load data is fine for a 53gr bullet but you shouldn't use data for a 50gr bullet with a 55gr bullet.

Thanks for the replies, life happened ( Dad's cancer meds went off the rails very not good. ) when I get a chance I'll check out the loads. I don't have a chrony so no velocity so I'll go for groups. Thanks again lost...

I got out to the range today. Using 19gr of Ar-plus under a 53gr matchking in mixed range brass I got just under an inch groups at 100yds. Worked up to 25gr and got 3/4 to half inch groups. All groups were 5 shot groups. The gun is a Ruger American using AR mags. I'm not a match shooter by any means just a plinker, these are the smallest groups I've ever shot. Thanks for all the advice. lost

To SAFELY use them, don't ask on an internet site.
Some joker may think its funny to blow up your gun.
Or they may just be mistaken.

Contact Shooters World.
A couple of years ago their pdf manual was all messed up, with pages out of line etc...
So I contacted them
I got back a very nice email & they've since fixed it.

AK I did download the link it had data for 55gr but not 50gr and 53gr. I wanted to know if it was safe to use the heaver data with the lighter bullets. Thank you for the link I can now use this powder for my heavier bullets. It seems to work well in my gun with the lighter bullets, shot my smallest groups ever with it. Thanks again lost...

Yes you can use the data for the heavy bullet to load the lighter bullet. It will shoot a little slower than normal speeds but if you work at it a little at a time you can find the right amount for your gun, just keep checking for over pressure signs. Just don't load a heaver bullet with light load data, it will cause too high of pressures.
