Saw one of those come up on the interwebs when I was reading about x54 rifles. I think the idea behind these was some kind of precision competition shooting.

Has anyone here even seen or held one?

I handled 2 at a gun show. Tried to trade for one of them, but the owner wasn't interested in the Swiss K-31 I had at the time. The cash price was out of my range at the time without a trade. Glad I still have the K-31, but would have loved that rifle! That and a Swedish M41B are on my "would've could've" list back when they were common and relatively affordable.

My understanding is they were made for a sort of marksmanship program in Finland comparable to our CMP, similar to the CG63 and CG80 rifles in Sweden.

I wonder how much it would cost to get someone in one of those countries are shipping to the US LOL

I had plenty of opportunities to purchase one of these when they were somewhat plentiful but the price was above my pay range.
