Pay it Forward in Reloading

I would be interested in the 7mm-08

I will have to see what is in my scrounge pile that someone may need
Well, looks like the 7mm-08 went to the recycler. Sorry to disappoint. I have since found 7 more pieces (3 Winchester and 4 FC) but that may not be enough to do you much good.

Very true. My carburetor gave out when I was out on the panhandle of Oklahoma. The closest auto parts store was 30 miles away. A nice man gave me a ride and hung out while I swapped the carb. He refused money and said he had been helped in the past.

Everything in the Okie Panhandle is 30 miles away. Fortunately, it's flat as a pool table, and one can see that far out there.

I don't live in the panhandle, but I've spent time there.

One cannot get lost in the panhandle; the few trees there all point north - from the decades of wind blowing from the south.

Us poor Okies. All summer long, Texas blows and Kansas sucks. In the winter, Kansas blows and Texas sucks. We're stuck in the middle.

Fellas, I have about 100 (maybe more) nickle plated 357 brass. They need a good cleaning as they've set in a shed for several years, but seem to be good. Free to anyone who wants clean them up and use them. Just send a PM with your address.

Mac
I would love to have them.

I found a small quantity(109 pcs.) of a mystery bullet. I will describe them as best as possible in the event someone would have a better use.
Are .4515 diameter, 225 grains in weight, a semi jacketed hollow point with exposed lead point, a single cannelure(?) at approximately .25 from base. None of the current reloading manuals catalog such an item. I found only a single listing for a 225 grain bullet in Lee 2nd edition Modern Reloading in 45 ACP. I do not recall acquiring these. Neither of my 1911s like projectiles with exposed lead at the nose. Do not have a 45 LC.
Any one curious or has use for these bullets PM me and they are yours.
Thank you and have a great day.

I've got a lightly used copy of Lyman's 48th up for grabs. This was forwarded to me by a fellow THR member, and I'd like to pay it forward, again.

I'd like to see this go to someone here that NEEDS a good loading manual, particularly for cast, which is what I used it for.

Post an 'I'll take it' here, and PM me, please.

Hi everyone I have 56 .40 cal cases of mixed head stamps if anyone is interested. Send me a PM if you're interested. All range pick ups since I just scoop and sort when I get home. I learnt a lot by just scooping, like 95% of people shoot 9mm followed by 40 and 45, seem they run close, .38, 357 and coming in dead last 380. At of all the scoops I think I recovered 4 380's out of 100's of cases. It may be area specific.

For your Swede or your Creed, these bullets are what you need! Offered for you personal stash only.

I can tell you I have a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people who abuse the spirit of PIF. If you use these bullets for your own reloads, that will be the end of it - I will not look for you, I will not pursue you... but if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you... and I will...

I bought a Savage Axis II XP 6.5 Creedmoor on Black Friday at Cabelas. I haven't shot it yet, mostly because factory ammo is unobtanium right now. I sure could use the bullets. I just ordered brass at Powder Valley.

Found these among a bunch of 6mm bullets recently acquired. Sierra 7150 80 grain spitzers identified as being "For Single Shot Pistols." 59 in the box. I won't use them, so free to a good home. PM with a ship-to address and I'll get them on their way.

That would be a cool box to have, probably right when the xp-100 came out. Good do everything bullet for who takes them.
