Is this a legitimate website?

They are popping up a lot more now as people frantically search for firearms in stock. Panic is roping them in.

I would suggest when looking on line using a gun search engine which lists in stock firearms at online retailers. Also, look up the local stores online, like Academy, Dunhams, etc to see what their shelf stock is. That is how I found an in stock P365, at their standard retail (cheaper than most online stores) with no FFL fee and even my choice of a box of HP 9mm ammo they saved back for gun buyers.

The secret to buying guns online right now is that ONLY the previous buyers - retail chains etc - are getting their prorated share of production. Theres not enough to go around for new start ups. The distributors are not going to ship 100 to one of them when they don't have enough for their "good customers" who are more than aware when some "Goodolboyshuntinirons.CHN" pops up on the net.

That right there tells you no new online retailer should even be getting new guns and if they are how are they diverting them from others who are being shortshipped as it is?

Really?o_O
I mean c'mon.....before I even clicked on your link I knew it was a scam website.
The real Springfield Armory has a copyright and trademark on their name. Same with every other gun manufacturer.
There are more red flags than one could count on that website.

How many of ya'll are still waiting on your Nigerian uncle to send you the $35,000,000 dolars that is in escrow?

Scam.

When there is no address or phone number on a sellers\’s website it has to be treated with extreme caution because legit businesses make it easy to contact them in different ways.

Welllll, without being a jerk about it, I question that. More and more I'm finding (legitimate) outfits are making it difficult to contact them other than through the net. Just informal observation, without making an issue out of it, and being aware of today's personnel issues.

I too have noticed that some apparently legitimate businesses don't reveal telephone numbers and physical locations anymore on their websites. They may think that improves their security, but the message I get is that they wish to control all interactions. I call it the Centurylink syndrome, and I will not do business with such operations.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed that because I've been called "paranoid" on occasion. ( I prefer to think of it as "Strategically Aware.")

Last time this happened with a product I was tempted to call the Secretary of State's office to find out who their "Agent For Service" was in Colorado so I could contact them to get through to the company itself. I resolved the issue another way, but I still wonder if that ploy would have worked.

Now that wasn't for a firearms issue, but I wonder if it might be helpful in gun matters.

These scam sites are popping up like flies on a dog's turd, but they have a few common points: They take payments in bitcoins, PayPal, or other non-contestable forms of payment (once your money is gone, kiss it bye-bye); they usually offer a chat option, and the "chatters" sound like an Indian call center; they answer very quickly to any query, and promise things that are unrealistic or downright impossible.

Also, there is always something that "feels off" to people who really know firearms and are used to the market...
