Is there a good way to search the web for primers?

I have been able to score some small and large pistol the last couple of weeks at Cabela's and Sportsman' warehouse. Luckily my wife went with me and we scored 4k of each in 2 trips. Find out what day Sportsman's deliveries occur and call the hunting dept to see if they recieved any. Sportsman's will put them in Customer Service for pickup later the same day. Cabela's was not as gracious, so it is more it or miss. Sportsman's had both large and small pistol in CCI and Federal on Thursday, Columbia, SC.

Midway seems to be the easiest place to find primers, but you can only buy ONE brick at a time. Unless you can find some powder or other primers to go with it, you take it in the hind quarters with hazmat. Brownells seems to be next easiest, and the limit is 2 bricks... but it is adult signature REQUIRED... which really bites for thos n.v of us who have jobs. However they will deliver to an alternative address. Most suppliers do not require signatures, but for some reason, Brownells does. I don't order from them anymore. Good Luck.

I drilled down to the relevant primer pages on about 16 different sites and bookmarked them all in a folder named ‘Primers’. I open that bookmark folder, right click and select ‘Open All’. The browser opens all 16 pages, I see the Out of Stock then close that page. Takes about 1-2 minutes.
I don’t actually search anymore because I’m not paying $75+ a brick, and then pay shipping and hazmat on each one because the limit is 1.

Be careful with these scammers online.
There's several "companies " that show
lots of scarce components in stock ready
to ship.
Barrel ammo depot and optics and ammo
are 2 I know of offhand.
Check around the forums for cautionary
tales of BTDT

ups just drops them on my porch, they never ask for a signature. Brownells has a 2 brick limit right now also so that helps with the hazmat. I won’t buy from Midway with a 1 brick limit.

Good luck getting them through customs. Last I heard, they don’t like explosives.:D

Canada does not sell to US citizens. Even if one could smuggle them across the lake, on their sno-machine at night, across the ice, they couldn’t buy any in Canada. :(

Canada is those snobby sales women in the clothing store on Rodeo Drive in “Pretty Woman”.
:p

FedEx brings the Brownells packages where I live. Back in the heat of Covid I was able to leave a signed note on the door and they would leave the package. I ordered some CCI 450 (SRM) primers from them about a month ago, and they would NOT leave the package. Finally got the package 2 weeks after they first tried to deliver it. Had to get it on a Saturday. At first, they would not deliver a signature package on Saturday, as those usually go to businesses... and they would try the following Monday. Went through all kinds of hassle on the phone. NO MORE! NOT a Brownells fan... and their stupid signature required policy for primers!
