I have recently come into possession of a reportedly pre '64 Winchester model 94. A family friend passed this past year and this was part of the collection. I haven't had much time yet to look it over, and it will actually be arriving at the house Thursday, but I did get a chance to handle it yesterday. I noticed the trigger is a bit floppy. No return action, it will reset with the lever, and it does drop the hammer, but otherwise it's just floppy. A quick Google search, and I find that this is a common issue with some Marlin models, just wondering if this is common on the Winchester '94. This is my first lever gun, so, my personal experience with these is academic at best. Any tips, hints or things to look for would be appreciated. Pics will be coming as soon as I can get it on the bench
