The knife is D2 and the boar spear is made from 5160.

The knife I made several years ago but the spear I made for a bear hunt last year that got canceled because of the China Flu.

Nice work, you have a unique style. Is the knife ground the same on both sides or is it a chisel grind?

The same on both sides. The profile wasnt how I intended it but I got a little too aggressive early on and had to fix a mistake

Its an interesting knife. I like to keep things a bit more traditional but I can see that being useful with the edge dropped down below the handle line, and the nice sharp point. I'd probably want less of a "choil" though and have the edge come back closer to my hand.
