Anybody shoot .350 Remington Magnum?

There are several different belted magnum cases that you can use, and I've made several different ones into 350 RM over the years...

They all work just fine...

So no issues with having to ream necks with any brass makes? It looks like forming and cutting down are pretty straight forward.

It will depend on donor brass, and individual chamber in YOUR rifle.
Likely not.
I may be soon doing such. I’ll be using 7mmRemMag.

Understood, but sometimes there are makes of brass that just don't work out...or end up being more work.

I've done quite a bit of case forming, own several wildcat cartridges. I've even got a couple cartridges/chambers that were even designed around a specific manufacturers brass due to thickness. Just haven't done .350RM, yet.

How the heck do you get these to work?

I've read on various forums that the Nosler ABs won't work in the .350 utilizing the 2.8" mag box, the ogive will be below the case mouth due to the length. I even contacted Nolser techs after I couldn't find them listed in their load data and they also replied that they won't work in the 600-660-673-M7.

I'd love to use these as it is I'm using: Nosler 225, Sierra 225 GKs, Horn 200 Interlocks. IF I can ever find some I'll try the Barnes 200 and 225 TSX FBs.

That is indeed true as I can attest in trying the 225 accubonds with my .358 win / BLR and a 2.800 max magazine length. This kinda makes the case for a long action.

With that said, the 225 Sierra and 250 Hornady fit just fine while keeping the ogive out of the neck.

DM,

Did you use the Redding form and trim die, or just run it into your .350RM sizer?
No, I don't have those dies... I much prefer to fire form brass, so trim to the length I need, and fire form, or depending of what brass I'm using, fl size and fire form.

Understood, I'll probably still pick up the die. It and a hacksaw seem to be the easiest/quickest way to go about it. I've got enough .350RM brass to go for a while, but since they only make a run in a blue moon, it would be good to have a back-up plan in place. Once fired 7mm Rem Mag isn't too hard to find.

About 25 years ago, I had a .358 Norma Mag built on an Enfield action that was just sitting in the shop. Beautiful rifle and pretty heavy which, when you're pushing a 250 gr Speer at over 2700 fps is an advantage.
I neck up .338 brass and use IMR4350 powder.
Other than one hog, I haven't shot anything with it, but it sure did the job on that hog!
