OK, this Weekend Max Michel was talking about Sig Re-releasing the 226 X-5

he was on a radio show called Guntalks, anybody got any news! that was my dream gun back in the days!

If there's one thing I regret, it was missing the boat for the last few non - fenestrated, non - hyperangular, non - railed, non - horror vacui Mastershop SIGs (I think they're referred to as Classic Mastershop Pistols nowadays?).

All I managed to snag were a few X - 5 Allrounds.

I wish I bought the X - 6 Level 1 in 9mm before it went poof.

That is certainly an interesting looking contour on the underbarrel weight
that’s the old X-5 P226

they are upgrading the grips, and adding fiber sights and such. Very excited about this one! I hope it don’t cost $2,000

I like the crazy video game curves!

We are living in a Golden Age of firearms people. Shotshow this year with New release and re-release! How about that Binary Glock! WOW… wish I had a million bucks!

I was walking through the SIG Sauer factory in Eckernfoerde to the proof house in their basement and saw how carefully the X series were put together and how everything was checked carefully, without a rush and forgetting profits over quality. After SIG Sauer had laid off a lot of workers and was hiring again, it took a long time to have qualified and experienced master gunsmiths in the masters shop again.

Probably the old p226 X-5 is better quality then! Like a old custom Colt vs. a factory new Colt. Were the only hand fitting is done, is the safety.

Hope the New X-5 is hand fitted like the old one’s

How Much are the Old Dragon X-5’s run?
