I saw a Taurus Judge listed for $1200 . I so wanted to give the seller a piece of my mind but refrained.

$2500 for a .300 BLK pistol??? I have no idea who’s buying those but I guess someone is. $2000 for a gigantic 9mm pistol with a 3.5” barrel makes no sense to me.

I put together a .300 blackout pistol for about 1/5 what they’re charging. It rarely makes it to the range. My 300 BLK AR rifle and .300 BLK ruger bolt action are 2 of my favorite rifles.

And bca had complete rifles on sale last week for $350,

That was a typo, should have been $12.00. Still overpriced though.

They're probably quality guns, and Sigs have always been high priced, but these prices seem excessive.

I know some people like to "complain" to others of the price when they buy things like these, which really seems to just be bragging.

I don't think they are, maybe 20 years ago a high end ar was much better then a cheap rifle. Not so today, I'd opt for more rifles then just one.

There was a thread here a year or 2 ago maybe more, something like have one $1000 ar for home defence of 2 $500 guns. A high percentage said two rifles, I think that shows there's not much difference from budget to high end. Plus add the fact many of the high end parts are made by the same company selling the budget guns.

Meh, I'm not sure. With ARs, the devil is in the details. MPI bolt, correctly peened parts, correct tolerances, etc. Black rifles all look pretty much alike, but will lack durability or reliability. With an AK, maybe not so much. They were designed as basic iron mongery.
Personally, I'd like one good rifle, but YMMV.

Speedo, hard question to answer, since it has been some years since I've been in the market.
I've a couple Colt carbines that have been flawless, but a Brownells NoDak upper only will run with a Colt BCG. Something a little bit out of spec with a generic Bolt Carrier Group?
Just don't see the sense in a bunch perhaps questionable rifles. But that is just me.

Talk about a way to give gun shows a bad rep.

Im assuming you are talking about the MPX for the 9mm and the MCX for the AR pistol.

The MPX is a very well made 9mm subgun and did very well in the Army trials for the new SMG. B&T ultimately won though. The MPX is a great shooter.

The MCX Rattler is a very small pistol/rifle that was built for the 300 BLK. It's been used pretty effectively by Special Forces (who surprisingly dont buy budget rifles, weird) in combat. Basically it's the modern MP5SD. While it looks a lot like an AR15 it isnt one.

About ten years ago I bought a lot from them, now they are just too high priced. I wonder if another company has bought them & jacked the prices up.
