Hello... I found this cheap at a LGS. $9.99 a box. It's marked Olin brass. Is this any good? Some of the boxes looked kind of old. 006492787fd97aa227e1345d2974f8c9.jpg

It's good. I don't know about their white box 5.56 ball ammo, but their white box 7.62 X 25 ammo is made in the Czech Republic. Very high quality stuff.

Every source I have seen says the Winchester metric 7.62x25mm was made in Czech Republic but headstamped there for Winchester import.
The Winchester white box in American calibers (.223, 9mm, .45) are made in USA.

Thats a package of Winchester USA ammo from over 10 years ago if I am remembering correctly. They changed out of the USA/stars logo and went to a more plain box similar to these 5.56 M855 62 gr. FMJ loads afterwards.

The 55 gr box is now printed with red Winchester printing instead of the black ink. (New .223 looks similar to what is on this box of 9mm ammo from 2013.)

Its good target ammo with reloadable brass cases. As the guys said; blast away!

Stay safe.

I just opened this case of Federal ball yesterday. Invoice is dated 08-16-2001, a month before the WTC terrorist attack. My "rotation" got out of sequence somewhere along the way, probably when I got 13,500 rds of WWB 9mm in 2004 for $3.88/box 50 from local Bass Pro. Ammo is "good as new." Joe

I've seen it around for a while and as stated made by winchester. I have never bought it simply because I don't shoot 55 grainers.
