Ok, so this isn't the thread you think it is.
I stopped in an antique shop after work today and they had a whole pile of Olin and Remington marked .45ACP cardboard ammo boxes. The bad? It wasn't loaded ammo. The good? There were 50 empty pieces of brass in each. Thought it was kinda neat, but not $25/box neat.
They also had some original field manuals from WW2 and Korean War era... including the M1911 & M1911A1 from 1947, in really nice condition.
I talked myself out of buying it but I might have just changed my mind. Again.
