New guy looking for info

Welcome to the highroad! I've had good luck with imr 4198 powder in the couple of bullet weights I've tried so far, no data on that exact bullet though. Might have to do some extrapolation of a similar load weight data. I'll get my manual out later and try to find something for you. Others will be along shortly too.

H110/W296 is my main powder for my 458 SOCOM. I have not shot that heavy in my gun, but their should be load data available. The 405 gr weight will be close enough. Start low and workup till you find the sweet spot. I've used the 4198 with 500 gr bullets so it's a good choice too.

One thought is that you call or email Hodgdon and ask their balastition if they have a load they tried that worked. Lots of times they don't publish all data they tried but just what is popular. I have often found this a valuable resource.

Myself and a friend did a run of these, 300gr ACME powder coated. We used 30grs of H110 to load them. ETA correct Info.

The box the bullets came in works great at holding most of the loaded rounds.
