Would someone please share the RMR discount code with me. I have lost the note to myself. Thanks and best wishes

Just curious, how come the code is secret? Why not let all of us know? I placed an order last week and didn't know of a discount ;(

Welcome to THR, Bobaloo! Good to have you here! :D

Just curious, how come the code is secret? ...
Just a guess ... to keep it among the membership at THR (and, perhaps, a few other select reloading sites). :)

If it were to be posted openly (and be easily disseminated across the Web) Jake may as well just eliminate the discount code and increase his prices across the board by 5%, y'know?

Like I said, just a WAG. ;)

FWIW; I have always had excellent service and excellent products from RMR so I mostly "forget" a discount code...
Same here. Given how little I shoot and how seldom I order, using the code just seems like a cheat. If I was buying a thousand every year, it'd be different.

^^^ using a discount code feels like cheating?
Now that’s funny.
To the OP….check RMR’s Facebook account before ordering. Those discounts are often better than the THR code. It depends on what you need. His Father’s Day sale was 6% off everything, 10% off 5.56.

I spoke to Jake about this through emails.
He gave the members of THR a permanent discount to thank us for helping and buying when he first opened his buisness. He is a very nice person and appreciates those who help him. He asked us not to post the code on the open forum because nonmembers just looking at the forum could use the code without being in the group that he intended to thank. I feel that is more than reasonable and should be honored.

I'm not sure but I think you can use the discount code even on items that are on sale but I'm not sure. You should email them and ask to see if that's true.

Their in-house bullets are amazingly accurate and very fairly priced.
(I have no affiliation with them, I just like their bullets)

I hope this answers the question...

You can not stack discounts...so use the best discount available at the time you order.

As a courtesy to Jake, when I use the code, I also take he insurance. It makes rectifying shipping errors a whole lot cleaner

The limited access to the code is due to the original intent to "Pay Back" participating members of the Reloading Forum...that is why there are requirements as to membership length and number of posts to qualify to use the code

I’ve ordered twice from him, I just got an order for my 38 special yesterday and ordered some for my .223. They have 10% on that and 7% off everything else right now and yes $3 for the insurance was a deal. Thanks for the info, I was just curious about the discount.

Wish I'd known that I'd have gotten more 223 bullets instead of 3 sets of reloading dies

never used Facebook and never will.
All the sales are also announced on their email list. I highly recommend joining (bottom of the page on their site).

Many members may not know that RMR in-house jacketed bullets are used by ELEY for their match ammunition. So we are buying "ELEY match grade" bullets at bulk bullet pricing ... kudos to RMR - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...or-their-new-line-of-match-ammunition.854750/

I totally forgot to mention that, thanks for telling the new guys. I like those bullets a lot and I think my last order was for 2,000. That was a few years ago because I haven't shot or reloaded much in the past 2+years. (long story, been ill)

I plan on reaching out to RMR for a definitive answer but, in the interim, has anyone had experience with large quantity orders from them (12,000 - 20,000 component projectiles)?

20k of their .355 115gr would be ~328 pounds. I'm curious if those ship freight or as a bunch of flat-rate boxes.

It wouldn't hurt to call, but unless they started up again, they discontinued their 20K bulk buy during the copper shortage.
(Addendum: I just checked and they are offering the bulk buys again)

Jake was kind enough to sponsor our IDPA State match, pre-Covid, and shipped about 11k bullets. IIRC, they came in two large boxes

can't wait to see how well a factory second bullet flies.
If they are anything like their 9mm 124gr or 147gr Matchwinners, they'll work great.

The variations I was seeing affected OAL...as opposed to diameter. Worked well inside 35 yards. Thought I might be getting a bit more spread out at 50 yards, but I might have been shooting too fast during that stage

Great Info about RMR contained here. Thanks to all!!!

RMR equals Great bullets, Great prices, and BEST of all Great People!!! You won't go wrong using any of their products and Jake is a member here.
