Thinking of getting a borescope, any suggestions for under $100.00.

I bought one of the cheaper "one day deals" off Amazon, it showed me my cleaning process wasn't as good as I thought, shows the riffling well and last week I found out I had a tight chamber so I have to trim my brass a little extra. Its cheaper now than when I bought it:(, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PBF6DX5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1,
Now I know if this ever messes up I will get another probably a better one also, I wanted to see if I would use one first.

I have, and highly recommend, the Teslong borescope.
Slightly more expensive, but with a very high quality image. And with a more manageable cable length.

With it I was able to lament that my Lapua brass will never reach the end of my chamber. And why my bullets start to get scratches on them after so many shots. As well as marvel at the sea-side boardwalk that is my rifling, which still shoots nicely.

Also, I could see the manifold on a pump was cracked not just leaking at a shaft seal, so we scrapped it out instead of wasting seals on it.

I’d be tempted to bring it to work if I weren’t so delicate, but I just can’t trust them guys.

If you purchase one, a small stitch of thread put through the mirror mount before screwing it on will hold the lens focus. You’ll know what I mean when you get it.;)

Edit: Upon review, it seems they now offer a lock ring. Neat!:)

Thanks for the tip... Ordered one just now.

You are going to find that what you always considered a super duper cleaning of your barrel is going to look like a sewer pipe when you look at it first time with a camera.

That is exactly what happened to me, I'd always thought I was cleaning my rifle barrels (brake cleaner, Hoppes and Ballistol using patches and brushes then MotoKote), my first barrel was one that was fairly new and it was covered in copper, my older ones also had carbon neat the chamber, now I run the camera down the bore each time I clean and each gun now takes 2 days to clean the barrel allowing chemicals to sit overnight. I showed my SIL that WD40 doesn't clean barrels very well:), (that was worth the price I paid for the camera). When I was breaking in a new barrel I could tell when I had cleaned the barrel by running the scope down the barrel and not have to guess.
