I bought this yesterday but the M-Lok adapter that I also bought didn't fit - the screw holes were too wide. So I ordered another one and it'll be here tomorrow. This Streamlight seems fantastic for the money, and it came with the pressure pad and everything to mount it. This is for my Mossberg 940 Pro, which has M-Lok rails at the barrel clamp.

Are you a southpaw? If you are a "righty", you may want to reverse it to the other side of the gun and just operate the tailcap switch with the thumb of your non-firing hand.

That was my idea too. There is a protruding nut or something on the left side preventing me from mounting it there. That was my observation, however I did not try it because it looked like it wouldn't work.

I just purchased a 940 Pro Tactical and now shopping flashlights and mounting alternatives. Since the gun comes with the M-LOK slots in the barrel clamp I'd like to use it. I'm looking for the most compact flashlight and mounting as possible. Your picture looks like a great solution given the flashlight is designed to be rail mounted. I can't help but to wonder why none of the flashlight/clamps I've seen utilize the M-LOK mount directly. That is, all seem to be rail mount which needs some kind of M-LOK adaptor. But again, the solution you came up with looks like the best alternative to me. Can I ask you to post a link for the adaptor you ended up using? Thanks.
