So, what funny or quirky stuff do you have to share about knives, axes, other primitive weapons, stories, photos, cartoons, memes, & oddities?

I'll start: I didn't write this but I did add a little to it.

Dark Ops Shadow Knife

My Dark Ops Shadow Knife. It's black. I sleep with it, I shave with it, I spear squirrels on the run with it. It's helped me de-animate hostile threats in the war-torn streets of third-world hell-holes. And it's black. It has more teeth than all my redneck cousins. I can vicariously live the life of an indestructible warrior through it. It's black. It makes me feel better about my pathetic, mediocre life. It's impregnated with Depleted Uranium. It's made of metal from a meteor and was forged in an active volcano by an ancient Icelandic Master Blade Smith. Oh, and it's really cool because it's black.

Also, here's a great song by my favorite band Blue Oyster Cult called "Black Blade", a funny song about this poor guy chosen by an ancient sword that uses him as it's "killing tool."

Looking forward to see what you all have out there!

This isn't exactly a funny story, I guess. Before I switched to a one-handed opener, I used to carry a SAK Tinker. With the flat blade grind and the thin blade, it was easy to keep a really keen edge on it and I did.

One day at work, we were having some trouble with one of the doors and called for facilities. The guy showed up and after looking at it awhile he decided he was going to have to remove some wood around the lock/bolt area. It was a solid core door and he didn't have any chisels so I lent him my knife.

I was worried about just handing it to him so I warned him that it was really sharp. The guy said: "Yeah, yeah." and reached for the knife. I pulled it back and said: "No, this knife is REALLY sharp." He gave me a strange look and said: "Ok." I handed him the knife and he went to work. I watched him for a couple of seconds. I figured at that point, given how easily the knife was going through the wood, he had a handle on it so I turned to get back to my work. As soon as I had turned fully away, he gasped. By the time I could turn back to him there was already a surprising amount of blood on the floor. I felt badly about it, but I also felt I had done my due diligence with the warning.
