Hello everyone, I was just in a mood to conversate and do a little show and tell. I picked ten ( all it would let me post ) of my favorite SA sixguns to share with you all. Would love to see and hear about some of your favorites if the notion strikes you to share. If not that's fine also, enjoy the pics and feel free to comment. You aren't going to hurt my feelings if you don't like any of my shooters. Everybody's got their own ideas about guns and that is why we have so many choices available. How dull the world would be if everyone wanted the exact same gun. Perish the thought!
All the Rugers in the mix all wear JB's BearPaw grips. Extremely nice fella by the way. The Piettas' and the Ubertis' except for the Schofield and the Pietta on layaway, all wear grips made by me from blanks I get from a supplier in Wisconsin. That black handled Pietta will soon wear a spalted Holly pair of grips when I get it home.
I'm looking forward to seeing some unique and beautiful hoglegs and some just everyday workhorses as well. They all have stories to tell and are special to the owners for various reasons. If you feel like sharing your story please do. I enjoy other's adventures as well as viewing your favorite firearms.
Take care, God bless and happy shooting!
Matthew.

You are a lucky rascal! Way to go man!
I can't afford, or at least haven't found, a Colt in my price range yet. The Piettas and Ubertis are decent guns and I like em but a real Colt would sure make smile.
it’s a hardly fired Montana Territory Commemorative. People bought them back in the days thinking there were investments. But they sell for 25-50% less than a un-tattooed Colt SAA. Want to know a New Colt SAA for the 60’s shoot & feel like… get a commemorative!

I will definitely keep that in mind. I have never had the pleasure of shooting a Colt SAA revolver. I would like to fore I kick the bucket.

Nice selection of lead slingers there sir!

i was unable to walk away from a pair of revolvers with scrolling on them.
The one scrolled revolver I pictured in my opening post has a twin except for caliber (one .357Mag and one .45Colt) with my name on it also. They are Davidson exclusives from Pietta. They both will wear spalted Holly grips when I get them home. Screenshot_20211230-221610_Etsy.jpg These are the blanks for them. I have never seen spalted Holly till my supplier laid these on me. Usually Holly is a good substitute for ivory for the white shine look. They should be very unique when finished. Supposedly the black grips on them are wood but I feel the guns deserve better than straight black.

Thanks for sharing!
Matthew
