I picked up a P320 a week or so ago, and while I'm really liking it, I'm thinking about changing the trigger, at least the trigger shoe to a flat trigger.
No real reason other than I like the look and feel of a flat trigger.
Sig sells a few options and there are some other places like Apex that sell them, but which one is best? Is there enough difference to matter?
Obligatory picture.

Given a choice, I like the flat triggers on the 320s and 365s myself. Just not enough to change out all the triggers on the pistols I currently have.

But ask three different 320 owners who've upgraded their triggers and you'll get three different answers, I don't know if one person can tell you that there's enough difference between all the choices to justify going with one of the more expensive kits ($185-$325) over just a $65 flat trigger from Apex.

I know guys who love the Apex triggers, a couple guys who like the Armory Craft versions, and there's a lot of love for the SIG Armorer triggers. But these were all installed as kits with trigger bars, overstops, springs, disconnectors, sears, strikers...

I haven't tried them all, and many are designed for competition pistols.

Apex options probably the least expensive.

I'm replacing the factory trigger on my M18 with this:

For a nice flat trigger, and cheaper option from Apex. A buddy went with this one, and I like it.

I just left the stock triggers on these

Gray Guns has a straight trigger option.

Are you looking for a complete kit or just strictly the trigger by itself?

The Sig skeletonized flat trigger makes a lot of difference because of the geometry of the trigger. Same one that is used on the X5 Legion. I have one on my M17 and it took at least a pound off the trigger pull.

I'm waffling between just doing the trigger shoe and a kit.
The shoe looks easy to replace, not sure about the entire kit.

They have another straight trigger that's not skeletonized, would that have the same effect?

It depends upon your familiarity with the FCU and it's associated parts.

I regularly disassemble the FCU when deep cleaning with the exception of the sear block area so for me it's not that big a deal to take the next step and disassemble the sear block, sear, springs, etc.
I don't go that far unless changing something out in that construct.

If you haven't gone down that path then the learning curve will be a bit steeper.
It is certainly doable with the help of Youtube videos but it will probably be a little frustrating the first couple times you do it.

I put the Mcarbo short stroke flat trigger upgrade in my P320 X carry. Easy enough to install and did, in fact, shorten the trigger travel and lighten the pull. Not sure if this is the "best" option but it seems to be working for me.
