Kibler and Kits

They don’t make big enough tubes for me. Is 54 cal really as big as they go for rifles?

The Fowler is close but a 10 ga would have probably found my money.

I found the flintlock to be more novelty than practical or useful. Never again.
The flintlock requires a crazy-high level of attention to detail...which is why us OCD people love them. For sure, for some or many, I'd not recommend the flintlock.

They are however, 100% reliable, which is as practical as a percussion lock, or a .30-30 for that matter.

Don't you mean CDO?

(OCD in proper order........)

I do NOT have AD... look a squirr....ooo shiney...do you smell donu...that's pretty....
Oh look! My spark plug wires would look better routed that way, than this. I must re-route them!! I think the brake pedal on my UL would look better if it was one inch shorter. Don't have AD...but I'm gonna spend two hours cutting it with a hacksaw, filing, and welding it back together. Then painting it. Oh look...it looks about the same! The struggle is real.

I dunno what to make of the flintlock comments. Yeah, they take some figuring, but once you've done that, they're easy and reliable. And frankly, the only affordable and easily available reloading components, these days, are blackpowder and flint. Smokeless, primers, caps, etc. are all catch-as-catch-can. And worse comes to worst, I can make bp and find some rocks laying around. Whipping up a batch of 2400 would be a bit of a trick.

Having said all that, I'm still buying a Kibler Hawken the instant they come out.
