The Enfield collector in me just puked all over the Star Wars fan in me's shoes. 
It's almost worth buying just out of spite, in order to put a shot-out barrel on it and restore it to at least wall-hanger condition.

the enfield collector in ME wants to have enough dough to pay the taxes for an AOW or SBR, or which ever it would fall under and get an original SMLE based "Armored vehicle grenade thrower" just to say i have one.
the prop Dept of Star wars did not cut up a full sized SMLE to make the original prop, they dolled up a sawed-off meant for use throught the hatch of a Armored vehicle (think of it as the ultimate "wire-wrap"), though as i understand it the original had a hook on the forestock that was placed over the edge of the hatch so that the considerable recoil of grenade launching was taken by the vehicle hull not the shooter,
