What 9mm if money was no object??

I'm always tempted to toss Korth into the ring in "money no object" threads but, unless it's to be a showpiece, the P210 is likely a better choice.

Somebody already mentioned STI - good choice.

WildWest builds some fine custom BHPs - call 'em. I'm betting an SFS mod wouldn't add much, if anything, to something along these lines:
BioHazard

my impression of the korth automatic is it's an overpriced uninspired and ugly automatic, how is this a showpiece?

HK P2000 or USP

HK P2000 or USP if I could afford it.

But if you put no caliber restriction on that, I'd get a Mark 23 SOCOM with sound dampener, a truck load of mags, and endless ammo! :D :D

SIG P210 and the X-5 come to mind.

But if I had a whole buncha money that I can just blow on one gun, I'd get a Colt 1911 in 9mm and get it customized by one of the outstanding smith's...

Lots of mentions on the SIG 210, and rightly so--It IS the best. But let me throw a curve in....I don't really care for the "-#" models.....

I'd hold out for a pristine, used Danish military, original 210.

(I won't tell you about the one I ran into at a gunshow 5 years ago. For $900. In 99% condition. That I passed on to buy a Python with timing problems. No, I won't tell you about that.)

MMMMMM!!!! P88!!!! Drool! I actually have my dream gun. Which is a P99 AS! I always wanted one! Is there more expensive out there sure is there much better out there not IMO. All this 226 talk has forced me to order one just now! :)

Only TWO guys mentioned the X-5? If it's gotta be a 9mm ... it's gotta be a SIG of some iteration ... 210, or the 226 X-5 ...

FBI style FN Hi-Power by Ted Yost

HK P-7

HK P9S

Colt Combat Commander Stainless

Money really no object? How about a real Artillery Luger?

If money's no object, why a 9, and why no SA? Others have said it though. Try out every prospective model that you can test fire. At least handle those available for sale but not available to fire. If it's for actual use, pick the one that points best for you and is reliable, whether it costs a few hundred or several thousand.

The original poster did not say that it had to be a handgun, so with money being no object, get an HK MP5SD3 with suppressor, retractable stock, a buttload of magazines and ammo, and last but not least:

DA SWITCH :)

Just my .02,
LeonCarr
