IIRC you need to know which series you have. There was a change in the front sight part way through the production run.

Have you called Ruger? Assuming they've still got the part, you'd get the right one.

I believe I have an ugly, blued one with scratches. If you really need one that bad send me a PM...

Hi ,I came in late on this,but my recomendation for gun parts is allways
Brownells. If there are different ones they generally list serial number ranges so you can find out which gun you have. Brownells has special small parts shipping where they stick it in an envelope and mail it to to for a couple of bucks instead of sticking you for $8 S&H for the smallest package from some of the other mail order joints. Brownells started and still tries to be THE place for gunsmihs so they run their outfit a little different than the other places. I buy plenty from Midway also but they generally don't compeat well on small gun parts.
* both Midway and Brownells offer a discount for a C&R,I believe Midway also gives the break for Law Enforcement/Milatary. Once you set up your account all you do is log in and you automaticly get the break.
