Buying gun shirt. WHICH ONE?!

If you can't make up your mind . . . http://www.thoseshirts.com/diversitybk.html

Except when I'm at the range, I don't wear "shooting apparel."

I don't have any bumper stickers on my vehicles, either . . . I can't watch my vehicle all the time when it's parked, and since people who hate guns often are of the political persuasion that doesn't respect private property, I figure "Why encourage a vandal?"

Hi All-

PinnedAndRecessed and I share the same policy. One wouldn't wear a tee-shirt that says, "I have a 5-carat diamond in my safe at home" because that would be broadly sharing valuable information in public. I am tempted to obtain a NRA shirt to wear while I'm on the shooting range.

I should have been more clear I guess. I'm buying shirts related to the freedomloving/gun-toting culture here. Maybe a NoR shirt, Molon Labe shirt, Don't tread shirt, peace through superior firepower shirt, etc.

I just order two from here Oleg Volk. Use the "T-shirts with my photos" link. From order to my door was about two working days. Nice shirt and the art looks just like the photos on the web site. Sizes MIGHT run a little big but I haven't washed mine yet so MIGHT is a key word.

I enjoy the "I am unarmed - please don't hurt me" ones.

Gave teh shirt to a cop buddy - wear the hat to gunshows and the range.

My personal favorite is the one that says"Alcohol,Tobacco, and Firearms should be a convenience store,NOT a government agency"...

i've got 4 of the oleg shirts and they're all very nice. i am thinking about buying a 5th one, but hesitating because i don't think it will look to good on a shirt.

i do like the "i'm unarmed; please don't hurt me" shirt, but well... i am armed and i think (aside from being marginally dishonest) that if you were ever involved in an incident, even if they didn't get you on normal charges because it was self defense, the state wildlife mgmt might step in and charge you for hunting over bait or something

the shirts i have are the ghandi one, cars have mufflers, only responsible govt agents, and the mail order machine gun/school shootings zero one. the one i'm thinking about getting is the acute lead deficiency one, since i picked up the barrett m95

I recommend a Glock Tshirt. You will be able to walk through metal detectors undetected. You'll get a serious discount if you're a cop. They fit perfect. The only drawback is that a few have been known to explode in the dryer...

I do tend to agree that wearing a 'gunny' t-shirt can draw unwanted attention when out and about, the bumpersticker equivalents may slightly increase the chance of your car being broken into (by a guy hoping to get a gun) and there is a slight chance that an armed badguy would put you at a igher priority seeing your shirt and thinking you are armed. (What about the chance an armed robber sees your gunny shirt, decides you probably CCW, and goes to rob a different 7-11?) To me the biggest one is looks and hassle from average folk who think differently than me on the issue. I tend to not wear overtly political, religious, or philosophical shirts just for that reason.

I am, however, fond of shirts taht let those 'in the know' recognize your stance, molon labe is a great example of that.

Now, to those who fear gunny Tshirts drawing unwanted attention from armed badguys, what YOU need is the equivalent of those gag shirts with the arrow and "I'm with stupid" text, one that has a big arrow pointing to the left and the words "Hey, I think this guy is packing heat!" That way you throw the badguy off!

p.s. what happened to that guy who was going to someday update a website so he could sell THR shirts?
