Clarification
Careful. You need an "A" only to:
1. Possess a HANDGUN w/a "large capacity" magazine; or
2. CARRY concealed.
Massachusetts law defines a "firearm" as a HANDGUN (in most, but not all, the statutes!); however, everyone else, especially the Feds, equate "firearm" with "gun."
So, to say you need an "A" to "own any gun with a magazine capacity of over 10 rounds" is not quite correct. An LTC/B would permit ownership of any "large capacity" rifle or shotgun and a NON-"large capacity" handgun. It would NOT allow concealed carry.

If so, you grasp the concept!
