I'm with you Cesium. I pretty much stopped using E-Bay. Used to be I would sell 100% of everything I listed. Now I have to list stuff multiple times to even get a bid and about 25% of the time those bids are bogus anyways.

Plenty of other places to sell crap but E-Bay is still king and most people don't even know that others exist.

Most of the media, and the left wing has to blame everyone except the SHOOTER!!!!!Typical crap these days. The gun dealer that sold the Glock legally has gotten death threats.Don't you just love the hypocrisy?:barf:

I wouldn't be so quick to call the restrictions "PC" (whatever the heck that means). A glance down the list of restricted items shows that they're mainly concerned about avoiding legal troubles and lawsuits. For example, I rather doubt they have a political agenda against alcohol or catalytic converters.

The problem isn't Ebay or PayPal or Google or whomever. The problem is that the laws we have make it not worth the risk for these companies. The loss from the potential sales is likely far outweighed by the cost of full-time lawyers and the occasional payout.

If they stocked and sold the items themselves it might be a different story. But it's user-based, and since they have less control it makes sense to CYA.

Don't attribute to evil what can be explained by greed/prudence.

The AP story that he bought his "clips" on eBay has this gem of a quote:

"It's apparent that he purchased the empty magazine clips," eBay spokesman Hani Durzy said.

^ Oh man, thats one of those "DUH" moments! Of course he bought them, of course they were empty. But hey, he wants to make it sure that some people don't assume Cho bought "clips" filled with live ammo on Ebay.:uhoh:

Thanks to the link for the calculator I was able to find out where the p22 mags were purchased. Surprise, a seller located about 25 miles north of me in Rigby Idaho. Never heard of them before.

If ebay stops all gun related items ( I hope they don't) everyone needs to go to Gunbroker. That is the best firearms auction site. Ebay has a better selection of odd parts and accessories but if they stop I expect to see more on Gunbroker.

Yeah, this is really just more of the same nonsense that people like us are accustomed to dealing with on a daily basis.

Honestly, the more I read what the mainstream media writes, the more convinced I am that they way to dumb to pull off a conspiracy that would fool people. They're not practicing intentional deception. The thing is that they really don't know. They're totally topic-illiterate. They just parrot what they hear and throw around buzzwords as if they do know, and that gets them in trouble, as it should.

We all know that it doesn't matter where he got the magazines, where he got the guns, that he filed the serial numbers off, or where he got the ammo. None of it is really important and none of it can be used to prevent another massacre like this one.

Jeez, now I feel like a delinquent, buying Pearce grip extensions for my Kel Tec...
