You think ebay sucks? Try living in MA. I can't get triggers, hammers, barrels, or the like shipped here, regardless if I own the dang firearm they go to! :banghead:

Ebay has an adult section? :scrutiny: I never seen the option for it before...my eyes must be bad.

I've purchased one airsoft item on ebay before. It was a pack of KAC imitation rail panels on my AR that had "classic army" stamped on it. I have them on the rails along with some genuine Tangodown panels. It ran $30 for 4 11-rib panels shipped...sure beats $22 each (and the fact KAC stuff is ALWAYS out of stock). They needed a bit of filing inside to smoothly glide on my rails, but you can't argue with that price; I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I've been looking at alternative brand (read: not Blackhawk) molle lbe's and hydration gear on ebay for camping. The prices are reasonable, but you have to research the buyer before you take the plunge. Its too easy to rip yourself off or fall to buyer's remorse on auctions.

I've sold all sorts of AK and AR stuff on e-Bay.

The trick was, not to mention the gun by name, and don't use those targeted words like "assault rifle". I think e-Bay's filters are set to search for those keywords, which then flag the auction to the blissninnies sitting at their screens for minimum wage. I've got more AK stuff to sell, I'll give it another shot and see if they've tightened their filters more.

They will keep doing this until people QUIT sending them money. I know it would inconvenience you, to make a STAND about e-bay or paypal, and their anti-2nd Amendment leanings. I wonder what our founding fathers would think, in looking at your lame excuses, for supporting this company. My guess, they would have hung you, in their time.

What I can't understand is why so many people on here continue to use Ebay.

Why? Because eBay still gets MUCH more business than GunBroker, or any of the others.

If I am looking for milsurp parts, 8 times out of 10 eBay will have it. Maybe 2 or 3 times out of 10, one of the others will have it.

The gun aution sites don't really sell anything but guns. So if I am looking for Computer parts, eBay is the place. Not gunbroker.

I suppose you are all mad because eBay won't let you sell one of your kidneys, too?

So, MountainPeak...

Just exactly who are you describing as lame and worthy of hanging?

I certainly hope it's nobody in this thread. :(

I think Gewehr98's got it right -- I've bought and sold brass and reloading equipment there a fair bit lately. They use software filters, like HR people do when scanning resume's. Relist it as a "collectible cooking-pot holder" and you'll probably be deluged with interest. :)

Just listed some Winchester Model 94 parts.

No problems, although they do restrict gun parts sales to domestic locations only now. Sorry, my Canadian friends! :(

I guess you're one of those guys writing on a 100% US made computer with all components: silicon, copper, fiberglass, and steel, aluminum, and plastic... mined, smelted, purified, grown, refined, formed, cut, painted, and assembled by a pro-2nd Amendment people working for a US company.

Likewise you're going through an ISP that is run by, and hires only pro-2nd Amendment US citizens with an all US technical support base. All your electrical and electronic power routing runs on copper and aluminum wiring manufactured and laid by pro-2nd Amendment companies.

You purchased all these goods and services through local store which hires only pro 2nd Amendment workers that stock products that are 100% US-made, pro 2nd Amendment. Your automobile is 100% assembled and made by only a staff of pro 2nd Amendment workers in a pro 2nd Amendment car company.

...not one of those "made in China" communistic anti-2nd Amendment products or companies like Ebay or Paypal. Nah, all goods and services you've purchased have all been 100% pro 2nd Amendment.

Yeah, and I'm a Chinese fighter pilot. Good luck selling that bridge.

Ok, everyone down on ebay -- show me someplace else where I can reliably find a Siemens Simpad or a Newton Emate 300. (Best $30 laptop you'll ever find)

Or the several MP3 players I went through over about a year before sucking it up and getting a Muvo? (Yes, I'm a cheap bastard. I'm glad you noticed.)

Oh yeah. And Auctionarms won't let me email the seller and ask for either clarification or better pictures. Just a "Dear sir/mam:" form letter asking for it to be relisted.
