mortal wombat is right also galco makes a good one for that kind of revolver.
i have my 4" taurus 627 in a galco holster and it feels pretty good and it doesn't add a lot to my hip
When I shortened my 5.5" stainless Redhawk, in 41mag., to 4", I never really thought about a holster to fit it. After looking around I decided to get one for a 4" S&W Model 29. DeSantis had what is called their Scabbard. It is a really well made OWB holster and it carries the Redhawk like it was made for it. Very comfortable. I highly recommend it.
Holsters made for the S&W N framee 4" bbl shoud fit the Ruger 4". I prefer Hunter holsters, (1100 model), for banging around in the boondocks. It is a leather holster that is closed at the bottom which protects the muzzle/bore. I once packed the bore of my 1911 with mud while changing a tire when wearing an opened ended holster. Maybe I should have been paying better attention but with a closed ended holster this would not have happened. Also the Hunter 1100 snaps on/off a belt without having to take the belt off. www.huntercompany.com
