:banghead:Well - I checked first to see if there was a duplicate, so sorry if this is a repeat.

I'm looking for a place to buy cast bullets, both auction style like ebay :cuss:

, and good suppliers' websites.

Now that ebay is out of the picture.... :fire:

I'm looking for cast bullets in general, for most pistol calibers, but also need on occasion to find 7mm cast as well as other rifle calibers. If you folks have suggestions other than gunbroker.com, please post.

I'd be looking for somebody local to you. Either a caster or your local gun shop. Shipping costs for bullets will negate any savings. Not that reloading is about saving money.

Actually depending on the bullet you can often get 2000 of them in a flat-rate USPS priority box for $9 or so. That's not bad considering sales tax on 2000 bullets.

powder valley has a good deal on pistol bullets. about $38 for 1000 9mm and $46 for 1000 45acp. Not for sure, i'd have to look it up.

close to that is gardner's cache. at $25 per 500 of almost anything, the bigger calibers are a better deal.

I bought some .45 cast bullets from Gabe at Wyoming Cast Bullets and have been very pleased with them. It was the first time I tried any 155 gr bullets in my 1911 and they made for a accurate low recoil plinking load.

It's just about time to order some more so I'll probably check out Gabe's site.

I wonder if Gabe gives a discount to THR members?
