From browsing past threads, I've found a few posts from owners of both guns state that the P01 is actually a softer shooting pistol than the CZ75b, and just as accurate in the range. For those that have owned or shot both pistols, I'd be interested to hear your input.

I will be buying one of these guns in the next few days and will definitely post pictures once acquired. :)

Can't speak for the stock CZ-75, but my P-01 is flippier than my SP-01. Not badly, but somewhat more recoil. But the P-01 is the much more practical CCW, and handles very nicely for a compact, Glock 19 sized kind of pistol. The SP-01 gets a work out at the range a lot, but the P-01 gets carried daily.

if the compact CZs fit your hand better, then sure you could get the impression the softer shooting of the two.

i have never shot a 75b, but i have a p01. for what it is worth, i am probably one of the most inaccurate shooters ever. i was lucky to hit the target with my old glock and even my 4" 686, but the p01 makes me look (and feel) like a good shooter.

I've owned a 75b, P-01, and SP-01 along with other models of CZ. The P-01 is the lightest and has the most felt recoil of the three I just listed.

That's the price you pay for such a light pistol. Shooting full power 9mm NATO loads feels like I'm shooting a .357sig.

It doesn't bother me, but yes, it has more felt recoil than my old CZ-75 steel frame Compact.
I have been told the new PO6 has less felt recoil, even being a 40.

When I got my P-01, I felt the recoil a good deal more than with my SP-01 or a 75B, but as I shot it more and got used to the way it handled, I noticed that I felt the recoil less and less. Now, it's like the recoil doesn't exist.
