XD cuz its like my glocky
:scrutiny:

i prefer the xd sc i have one in .40 and it is awesome, there are lots of after market parts and accesories for the xd sc as well mags are interchangeable with the larger models, and sa takes care of thier customers if a problem ever does come up. and mags are inexpensive and easy to come by.

Brother Dan -- interesting poll. On one had, you include a line of pistols I don't like and on the other hand, a line I have limited experience shooting. I'd probably go w/ the CZ because they tend to be a bit more consistent than the XD's
Good luck w/ your customer ;)

I Can Apply Every Thing You Just Said To Glock:neener:

For the price, versatility, and durability an XD-9 would be a great choice between the two.. I LOVE the XD platform, and the sub-compacts shoot almost as well as the bigger ones. That's not what I've found from my experience with Glocks btw..XDs just shoot much better IMO. Glocks are nice too, but the poll was about the XD and the CZ.

I've owned(and fired alot): a G27, G19, XD.40, XD9sc, XD45, all NIB, and I can definitely say the XDs provided me with a much better experience overall than the Glocks did. I could sit on the couch and "pet" my little buddy(the XD) forever. lol..I'm close to my guns.

look at my sig... i LOVE my xd9... its an amazing little gun, i just let my buddy carry it instead of his cougar... he likes the xd better... its accurate as a blood test and just a beauty of a weapon.

Out of the box I feel the XD trigger is smoother than the Glock but it has a longer take-up and reset time. The Glock’s shorter reset allows for quicker follow up shots this fact is a big plus for me. The Glock’s trigger weight can be easily adjusted by by just simply changing the connector and/or the trigger spring. These parts are truly “drop-in” and it is fairly simple to learn how to do this. The Glock’s trigger can be adjusted from under 3.5lbs for competition to >8lbs for duty or carry. The standard service pistol trigger weight is 5.5lbs. The XD’s trigger is standard as far as I know but is smooth enough for both competition and defense. The XD’s trigger face is made of metal vs. the Glock’s polymer trigger and both have the same inner-face trigger safety which prevents the trigger from moving back unless it is pulled straight back. I am not sure how necessary this is but they both have it and it does not impede shooting either gun. Though I like the out of the box XD trigger since it is so smooth I am going to give the nod to the Glock because of the faster reset time. I personally feel this is critically important in a combat handgun.;)

I'll Stop About Glock Now.. You May Proceed.

GO! GO!! GO!!! XD!!!!!!!!!!

I have two similar, a CZ75B and an WD9 Tacitcal both in 9mm. Of the two I shoot the XD faster and more accurately, but I like the looks of the CZ better.

You're like the annoying salesperson in the local gunstore who pushes his preference onto others despite the fact that they've asked to see two specific firearms. Are you new to firearms or something? You just lost the sale, lost the customer... and your boss should fire you.

2+ years? Ooooh.... righty then :D

Go back to GlockTalk, kid - you'll find your own type there.

you mean it took you longer? Lol .. well some people just learn slower i guess.:neener:

i am already a member there and a senior member at TFl and a member here.

ok thats fine with me, if you ask me Studying Day In And Day out 8 Hours A Day For 2 Years Is More Than Enough. it shouldn't take over the course of a few months. the majority of my research is handgun and handgun ammunition based and some looking into the shotgun.. so i cant say i'm studied up on rifiles
only reason i indulged any further is because the topic interests me.

Best of luck to you, then.

(Pssst: I know the real saying - I lived the lifestyle long enough; just didn't believe that it's "High Road" to talk about killing in a sig-line. Just one of those little subtleties... *whoosh!* ;) )

Hands down...It's Springfield's XD 9 sub-compact.

EXCELLENT XD9 Subcompact ARTICLE at Officer.Com from their Law Enforcement Technology Evaluation Team…“The off-duty firearm needs to be a deliberate consideration. Law Enforcement Technology tested the Springfield Armory's XD9 Subcompact and found that it exceeds this standard.”…..You can view the article here.

Neither...

A Glock 26 or CZ PCR would serve them far better. No, I am not a Glock fanboy by any means, but I found all of my former XD's to be innacurate, and I think the the RAMI has pitiful ergo's.

Just my opinion, of course...and worth every bit you paid for it...

I rented a P-01 once and liked it, does that count?

The Shriveled up version of the XD was pretty nice too. I own neither, just felt an urge to vote in a poll when I saw "Hit This Poll".
