I drive an 18 wheeler and at the entrance to any military location, the security officials do a thorough cab search (including my lunch box) undercarriage search, engine search, and trailer search. Not once has anyone ever put a finger on me to search me physically.
Is it against the law to carry concealed while driving a truck? Yes. If you've been in some of the places I've had to drive, you'd carry a shotgun on a bandolier..
Am I a lawbreaker? Yes. Is there a higher law that I answer to ? Yes. It is called the 2nd amendment and by all rights that should trump all other restrictive laws regarding concealed handguns. Is there a higher law than that? Yes. It is called my God-given right to defend myself, family, and friends with lethal force, if necessary, against a deliberate attack on my life.
Yes, I am willing to accept the consequences if I am caught but not without a determined legal fight.
Politically incorrect? Inappropriate? Probably.
