Just put a red dot scope on my Ruger PC4. Shoots 2" groups at 25 yrds.
Good enough for close range varmints.

I used to think this a good idea, but now I can't remember who I'm waiting for. So I won't know when they get here!
 
I am not familar with the brand of RED DOT you have but it appears to me to be mounted backwards. If you turn it around you may get 1 inch at 25 yard
