Dad's First gun from when he was 12-13, J.C. Higgins Model 42 .22lr (also .22 short, and .22long).He did all the glass bedding, checkering, and white line spacers himself...gotta be one of the prettiest, fanciest El Cheapo .22's ever , great shooter too!
