I5 to 101 West, get off on Black Lake Blvd, turn left at the end of the onramp.
The road ends at Delphi Rd, turn left.
Go down and turn right on Waddle Creek Rd
Past Capitol View Lane, stay on Waddle Creek and bear left.
Not far after the turn, there’s a gated road on the left, park there and walk about 100’ up the road, you’ll see the mess.
There’s nothing on the ground of any value, all that gets left are the steel and aluminum cases. There’s a local who picks up everything else.

Keep a close eye out tho there are alot of atv and dirt bike riders in that area as well, I have had to teach a few shooters a lesson when I was down there ridding and they put a shot down range when I was down range :cuss::cuss::cuss:

Good information, will try to keep that in mind.

Were the shooters polite and contrite? (I hope so!)

I've started the planning for my trip West, and I certainly would like to stop at the first appropriate place to fire a few shots (safely etc, not up into the air ;)) -- I'll be on the lookout for fellow humans!

Yea I called Champion earlier today and asked them a couple questions. The guy I talked to seemed real friendly. Is it freezing cold in their range, like Marksmen in Puyallup?

RSO? BDGC? Sorry I'm not familiar with those.

ya i used to go to championship all the time but i like to shoot on a longer range and outdoors. there is just something about it. i know amost every person that works there since i go almost every sunday (well when the weather is too cold otherwise im at Renton Fish and Game club)

Finally went down to Champion yesterday. I like their range. But it's a little further than I would like to drive. I didn't know it was by IKEA and the hospital... Drove around the Kent valley for over an hour trying to find it. Convinced myself to get GPS.

Anyone want to go shooting at BullsEye in Tacoma or Marksman in Puyallup, sometime this week or the next?

I used to shoot at the Marksman back when I was stationed at McChord in the 1980's. 1982-91 actually. We used to have a really good core of shooters. I wonder if any of them are still around?
