I plink with a marlin model 60 .22lr
Also always take my 12g mossberg500at

GSG-5 with a Fake ACOG ontop
or
one of my AR-15's made up as an IDF Clone Carbine, with a .22lr Ceiner kit installed

Box of 550rds of .22lr costs around $12 OTD, hard to beat that for economical plinking!

Depends on what you spend your money on I guess. The only thing I buy besides food and gas is guns and bullets.

and it`s lots of fun. For me anyway.

Wow, your definition of cheap is a bit different than mine. By your definition I can shoot most anything up to .45LC

But I plink a lot and by my definition plinking revolves around the .22LR.
For that mostly I use a Henry 001 lever rifle and a Ruger SAS.

Usually to go plinking its a Colt CAR 9mm...but am thinking on getting a rifle that fires a 22l.
