I'm not sure what you are looking for in a review. I have smallish hands, so the CZ fits me better than Sigs or some others. I have a BHP, and the CZ feels as good as or better. I got the BD because I wanted a decocker. As time goes on I'm moving to single action more for the range, but double action is good for a defensive gun.
My 75 was very accurate and totally reliable. I screwed up and double tapped over a squib reload. Got a bulged barrel out of it enough so the gun would not run. No other consequences. I got a BarSto 5" barrel fitted by the company. It is now ridiculously accurate. It runs with my S&W952-2 and Les Baer 9mm.
The CZ Kadet is an all steel replacement slide. The magazines are the same size as standard with a .22 insert welded in. The .22 feels just like the regular, unlike most kits which are made of aluminum. My Kadet fits on the BD and the P-01 frames I own. My Kadet is as accurate as my Ruger. It comes with an adjustable rear sight. I liked the rear sight well enough that I put one on my BD. I also added a fiber optic front sight.
Back in 2002 my 75BD with the Kadet cost right at the same price as the BHP.
I have spent a lot of time shooting a couple boxes of 9mm and a brick of .22 on an afternoon with the CZ. A great way to become a better shot.
Aside from the barrel problem I did have the slide stop pin shear off after tens of thousands of rounds. CZ sent me one free the next day.
When I was buying the CZ at a gun show one of the onlookers remarked "Who would buy a CZ?" and the gun dealer replied without missing a beat "Someone who wants to own a $600 gun for $400". Adjust for inflation and the same holds true today.
Yours won't look like this out of the box
