I guess that was asking a little too much.
Let me re-phrase my question:
Does anyone please know where I can find/purchase a G3 heavy buffer?
It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack so far (grumble grumble).

You could pick up one of these, they have the heavy buffer installed. Only $495 at hkparts.net

IMO a standard buffer and the rubber buttpad really tame the recoil down to nothing.

Will the heavy buffer even go into an unmodified G3 buttstock? I thought the diameter was quite a bit larger.
