Parts for a SPAS-12?

Does anyone know where to get the old style recoil buffer for a SPAS-12. There is a SPAS-12 for sale at my local gun store for $400, it has the folding stock and the hook but the buffer in the recever is wasted and I would like to buy the gun but if I can't find the part then it is just usless. If anyone knows where to get on please let me know. Thanks

Numrich does not have them, I already checked. Just wondering if there was anyother sources. Third Rail what store did you see it in? Just wondering if we shop at the same place?

I don't know about your part, but for $400, I might buy the gun. IIRC the folding stock and hook are fairly rare items, you might be able to part it out for more than $400.

Have you tried to contact Franchi? I wouldn't think they would cease to manufacture a commonly replaced part like that.
