Another Victim of the War on Drugs

I'll never be able to understand why seemingly intelligent people will do such stupid things like smoke pot or even just get drunk every night.
That evil reefer, which causes axe murders and worse, to otherwise poor innocents!

Sheesh. What terrible harm to social fabric is it that marijuana causes again? Raids on fast food drive-throughs, and similar crimes against nature.

Can I get a harumph here?

Two hundred grams of pot is about 7 oz. if my math is correct. A half a pound or so of dope is quite a lot!

Not really if it's lower quality stuff. It is enough for intent to sell, though. But I could see someone buying a lot to stock up for awhile and not have to risk traveling around for smaller amounts. She was probably selling to her college friends to cover the cost of her habit.

Besides, some people might think 1000 rnds is quite a lot, as well.:neener:

Do you lie on your form, as well? Have you ever had any mental conditions? Never been depressed? Ever? Because depression is a mental illness and if you have ever been depressed (according to the form) then you would be prohibited from owning firearms.

Perhaps you should go back and reread that question on the 4473. Having had a mental condition such as depression is not disqualifying. The disqualification comes when you are adjudicated mentally defective or involuntarily committed to an institution.

do all you pot smokers buy your guns private-party, or do you just commit perjury on the 4473 form?

Perhaps I missed it, but I can't find where anyone admitted to being a pot smoker here. Or did you just make a stupid assumption to support your ad hominem on certain members here?

but why, why do people with great potential feel they have such pathetic lives that they have to throw it away to "feel good", get high, drunk, whatever.

Is that red herring I smell?

Not all pot smokers are mindless bozos like Jeff Spicoli in "Fast Times". In fact, I've known a few pot smokers - most of them are extremely intelligent, successful, and well-educated corporate attorneys and Wall Street traders (oh those crazy muni bond and derivative guys...). Even Jimmy Cayne was reported to be a toker.

"No, real criminals (hardened ones) selling guns that she had no connection to, and pressed into service to catch, killed her, not the pot smoking college friends of her's that she w/as SUPPOSED to be narcing on."

the young lady offereed up the two guys names.i guesssince they weren't close narcing them fit into the rubbery fabric of her code of conduct
