You know, I had the same thought before I half-way down the first page.

Anyone want to take bets on a Stalinist purge of the Brady campaign and the VPC? If there's one mole in the yard, there's usually a bunch more.

No....there's some in the pro-gun movement. Be sure of that. Just as a crazy man cannot play a sane one, a hardcore anti-gun cannot play a pro-gunner.

Nope, if there's a mole in the NRA, etc, it's someone with something to gain. MICE is the acronym. Money, Ideology, Conscience, and I can't remember the last one.

Chances are it's someone bucking for a high spot on the totem in the VPC. Sad part is, it's not a group wanting power thats backing the NRA(like the Bradys and VPC), it's the American people saving their 2A rights. It's difficult to fight something noble.

They want to get rid of all the guns;we want to keep all the guns.

There...now everybody's secrets are out and we can get back to fighting without worrying about the espionage.

Anyway, I have no doubt they have or are now in the process of doing the same thing to pro-gun groups. And I wouldn't take it for granted that they might or have succeeded. I just hope our side has succeeded in placing even more moles like Sapone within their inner sanctums.

And I hope you're also right in these gun banners initiating Stalinist purges within their ranks to rid themselves of infiltrators. It'll keep them busy backstabbing each other rather than bothering us.

This woman is a freaking hero IMO. Who knows how many gun bans were defeated or never even enacted because of ehr great work? Anyone know her birthday? Id like to honor the woman by buying a gun for myself on her birthday.

That article on The Mother Jones website has generated over 100 responses in just over 24 hours!

It appears to be 50/50 as to pro/anti guns that are responding. Maybe I'm biased but the antis' arguments are just not holding up and absolutely no facts are being presented in their arguments.

A couple of antis are proposing violence against Mary or anyone like her who tries to infiltrate their organizations. HOW IRONIC!!! They are "anti-gun" but have no qualms about ripping a grandmother to shreds with their bare hands and clubs!! Here is one anti-gun proponent's message to infiltraters :

I've had an experience of a spy infiltrating a group that I belong to. It was just last month and that gentleman is still in the hosptital. And I put him there. I'd do the same thing to this old broad.

Has anyone else noticed that a whole lot of the "bush is bad" rhetoric on teh interwebz has dropped off since Hillary took a hiatus from the campaign?

Remember - one person could be several, a dozen, or even more "people" on internet forums...

Something like this brings up an interesting question about corpoate espionage. You suppose either the NRA or Brady could claim "trade secrets" and have her prosecuted?

Off the top I think probably not. But the law is funny sometimes.
