So I'm looking at these moon clips, I just stacked them up and the stack is a few inches high. The thought occurred to me: Why not use old Pog (milk cap) containers? Anyone tried this? I have some pogs from my early childhood stuffed somewhere in the basement, and I'm thinking the containers for the milk caps would be the perfect size for my 10mm/.40S&W moon clips just as extras stacked together, or possibly even as an ammo holder for carry (with some modification). I remember that I have one that opens laterally so that I could access all the different clips (loaded or not) with the container open.

So how hard is it going to be to partition those pog containers off for the half moon clips and 1/3 moon clips? :)

I keep mine loaded or in a freezer bag so they don't get misplaced.

WalMart has a little $2 camera case that fits on your belt and holds 6 loaded moon clips very nicely and conceals well. And even if someone notices it, it just looks like a camera case.

It works well for .38 special or .357 speedloaders too.

The empty moonclips I just keep in the top compartment of the ammo box that has my de-mooner and spare ammo. I try not to have too many empties. After a day at the range I load them back up and layer them in the ammo box.
