So I finally have a belt holster on order for my Smith 610, but being used to carrying a brass chucker with 12+1 rounds, I'd feel more comfortable with a couple extra clips of ammo. Problem is, I have yet to find any moon clip pouches for 10mm. Should I just get smaller speed loader pouches? I don't want to use the "competition style" moon clip holders, as it seems they would easily fall off during vigourous activity.

I put Ranch Products 1/3 moonclips in a Cabela's pellet/22lr pouch. Six fit nicely and flat. Sure it's not as fast as a full clip, but you can do partial reloads and easily mix ammo types. Also I would try Andrew's leather;

I would think any N frame speedloader pouch that would accomodate 2 moonclips of 45. would be fine for two of 10mm and three for .40 S&W. There's a thought, any extra space you have in your favorite 10mm pouch you might fill with .40's.
And yes, I am a Freethinker.

HKS Speed medium pouches are your answer. If you drop a 610 moon clip with rounds into the same speed pouch that a K or L frame S&W revolver uses with the A10 or 586 loaders you will see that the moon clip with rounds attached will fit nicely. Removeal of the moon clip is just insert your finger into the center and lift. There are lots of used ones on the market from all the police turned in equipment.

I'm curious about how vigorous you'd be shaking/moving to think that you could dislodge 610 moons from the TK Custom Competition Moon clip holders? As long as you set them into the holder correctly, I can bounce around, run around a stage, bump into props and even go prone without them dropping out. I've used them for about 5 years with no negative dislodgement issues and sometimes they were under a coat since I tend to shoot rain or shine. As usual, My opinion may vary from yours.
