OK.

Obviously, it's a big bore somethin'.
I don't see a barrel band so that rules out most leverguns.
Barrel appears to be a shorter 'carbine length'.

Any guesses???

I'm a novice, so I probably will get it wrong... But it looks like a Bull Barrel 12 Gauge. I don't know the maker.

Yeah JDoe...that's where I grabbed the pic from. I can believe that it's a .444 caliber - so the question remains.......What rifle is he pictured with?

It appears to have a bolt handle and European style sights. I personally do not know of a bolt action chambered in 444. Not that it isn't possible.

I'm going to have to go with a custom rifle built on a Mauser action. The bolt handle is polished steel. No company (that I know of) produces a blued rifle with a polished bolt handle. That is normally found only in mil-surp rifles. Also that is a rather large safety just behind the bolt on the right hand side of the receiver.(Directly under his right eye, but above his right thumb.) It looks to me like a Mauser safety, but it could also possibly be a Winchester style safety (available through the aftermarket to fit the 98k).
