Today was quite eventful. I got to shoot a new gun, break an old one and I was shot, well hit anyway.
I was on the 25yd pistol range when the guy 3 lane to my left was sighting in a rifle. As he fired his third shot I felt something smash into my arm. I looked down to see blood dripping from a gash just above my elbow. I washed it out and with a little help from my buddy we were able to pull out a metal fragment. The piece of metal was less than a quarter inch in diameter and just under the skin, but it felt as if someone had hit me with a hammer. I had an “Oh yea, that’s why I wear eye protection…” moment as soon as it happened.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
