[/IMG]Shooting has taken it's toll on my ears, so this is a partial reprieve. It doesn't "silence" the piece, but it sure takes the bite out of it. AND it fits in a Bianchi large shoulder holster.
The barrel was a carbon steel 6" that I picked up at a gun show. I had a local gunsmith cut, crown and thread it to the correct length (about 5.5" ?). I have a Jarvis barrel for a 9mm upper I have for my 1911 that came threaded. Got it on gunbroker. Sometimes you can get into the right barrel from less expensive sources than the suppressor guys or the barrel guys.
"An empty 2-liter Coke plastic bottle would does the same trick."
I have a hard time getting the two liter bottle to stay on for the repeat shots, and it's a little large for the holster.......
And also find you going to jail. It is illegal to do anything to a firearm to lessen the noise without first going through the NFA paperwork. And that will include said coke bottle.
